About Us

The pretty ones don't grip. The grippy ones hurt. So we made our own.

It started with one pair of socks

In March 2026 my wife was getting ready for her very first Pilates class, and she needed a pair of grip socks. She picked a pretty pair online. It was only in class that she realised they barely gripped at all: on the reformer her feet slid on the carriage and skated across the footbar, and she spent the whole hour thinking about her feet instead of her breathing, bracing so she would not slip and hurt herself.

For her second class she switched to a serious pair: five separate toes, properly non-slip. The grip was finally there. But every toe was squeezed into its own tight little sleeve, and she came home with red marks across all five. They were not remotely cute, either.

Two out of three was not good enough

The pretty pairs do not grip. The grippy pairs hurt. That is more or less the state of Pilates socks today, and it is a strange thing to put up with in something you wear on your feet twice a week.

So we decided to make our own: genuinely cute, genuinely non-slip, and kind to your toes. Not two out of three. All three.

Why cute is not a small thing

Here is what we keep coming back to. When my wife opens a pair of socks she finds adorable, she lights up. And when she puts them on, she wants to go to class. That small lift is the difference between skipping a session and showing up for it.

So we keep designing socks that are softer, cuter and more wearable than they strictly need to be, so that more women get that lift before class and keep showing up for themselves.
